Review policy

Why every review on DealNest traces to a real completed deal, and how moderation works.

Version 1 — June 2026

Only deal-backed reviews

Reviews on DealNest are not open submissions. A review can only be left by a client on a deal that was actually completed through DealNest, via the secure portal link for that deal. One review per completed deal. This is the entire point: a rating you can trust because the work behind it is real.

No incentivized or fake reviews

Vendors may not pay for reviews, offer discounts or perks in exchange for positive ratings, review their own store, or have employees, friends, or contractors pose as clients. Buyers may not sell or trade reviews. Any review we determine to be incentivized or fabricated is removed, and repeat offenses can end a vendor's storefront under the Vendor policy.

What a review may contain

Write about your own experience: the work delivered, communication, timeliness, value. Reviews must not contain personal attacks, discriminatory language, other people's private information, or content unrelated to the deal.

Moderation rights

DealNest may screen reviews before publication and may remove or withhold a review at any time. We do not edit review text — a review is published as written or not at all.

Removal criteria

We remove reviews that are fake or incentivized, violate the content rules above, were extracted under pressure (from either side), or relate to a deal that did not actually complete. Vendors cannot pay to remove a negative review; the only path is showing it violates this policy.
