How long does it take for a paid collection to come off your credit report? Is there anyway that you can speed up the process? And how much does your score improve after having them removed? Thanks
Why in the world is it allowed that Collection Agencies can pull your credit once they buy up a debt? Â Well I mean I understand they are seeing if they are your only bad account and how well you have rebuilt your credit so maybe you would be more apt to pay them…. but still really irritates me when everyone wants to be so Inq sensitive and then a company I don’t even know all of a sudden pulls it! Then to top it off the pull is from a company that so far has not contacted me!
What does this mean? Will it be deleted from my credit report or did someone else buy it? I sent 10-15 PFD letters but they never accepted.. now this….

This account was closed on 01/28/2011 and the 3 credit agencies were notified to remove this account from your credit file. A copy of this request was mailed to the address we had on file at that time.  I will forward copies today to the wood Dr address.

Do consumer finance accounts hurt your credit score? If so how much?
Help me make a list of methods to improve/rebuild credit other than disputing and removing negative items from your credit report to raise your FICO.
Â
1. Get a secured credit card that reports to all three bearus
2. Get a secured loan
3. ???
4. ???
…

Yes, paying your bills on time is a big must, but when you start to rebuild.. it is a bit of a catch 22 in regards to the fact that nobody wants to give you credit to be able to prove yourself and raise your credit scores
