If my credit report has a note saying a negative account will remove 09/2010 does that mean it should be gone starting in September, or that September will be the last month it shows up on my report?

Thx!!!
So I sent a GW letter to Emerge Card/FNBO about 2 months ago. Got a letter stating that they will remove my TL for all 3 CB. Please allow 30-60 days for your CR to be updated. Both EQ and TU was deleted right away but it is still showing on my EX after 60 days. Any advice on who should I call…EX or Emerge Card Services? Should I dispute it with EX. Thanks in Advance
I sent them a letter about a month ago and they’ve agreed! They will remove the baddie from all the credit reporting agencies!!!!
Â
And this was only after sending one letter!
I read on the threads that LVNV will remove if disputed after the account is paid in full? Is this an urban legend? I have two more payments left, should I still gw? I have to say that when I call the csr is very precise in what she says and when I tell her that it is being reported differently on my cr. She says to take it up with them…is she giving me a hint?Â
Received a letter back from the CA that I sent a PFD to a week and a half ago. They have agreed to my terms and will remove my four medical collections. I’m sending a money order first thing Monday morning. Yay!!!!!!!
What type of letter would I send to Lvnv funding to verify whether or not they have the proper documentation to pursue me for the debt they seem to have bought from another company? I have heard if they can’t back it up they must remove it Is this correct? Also if I am going to pay a recent collection that is about 1 1/2 yrs old should I try to negotiate a price or get something in writing first that they will remove it? I am not touching the 6 year old medical collections and the 6 yr old utility since they are both due to drop off later this year. Also can someone give me a website to get a good secured credit card to boost my credit score…..thanks
Hello again everyone and thanks for all the valuable input, but I still have many questions
Â
First off, I had a providan credit card that was sent to collections in 2004 and the balance in collections is $2,684 and I know that the balance wasn’t that when I could not afford to pay it.  I called the CA and asked for them to send a letter stating that it will be removed from my CR once the balance was paid and they told me they could not do this
Â
My question is is there any room for negotation in regards to lowering the balance due, and also is this true that they will not send a letter stating that they will remove it from my CR once it is paid?
