I have 3 baddies on my CR that were scheduled to come off Aug. 2010, but they are still there!! I know that it’s “technically” still August, but I’m ready to see them gone! How long do I need to wait before I file a dispute? I know that there probably won’t be much of a score increase (if any at all), but it would sure make my report look alot cleaner!

It’s so hard to wait for responses! I have two GW’s emailed through PlanetFeedback, two PFDs sent out (on two small utility bills from my old apt I didn’t even realize I owed), and a PFD to an old cell account.

For those of you who have done these steps, how long did you wait before resending? I’m impatient by nature, so I don’t trust my personal timeline. ;)

After a long journey of rebuilding my credit, I was finally approved for the following cards this month:

Walmart – $600

Carnival – $500

Chevron – $350

Shell – $300

Brylane Home – $250

JCP – $200

Best Buy HSBC – $100 (All I can afford with this low limit is a dvd… maybe I can call and sweet talk somebody for an increase!)

My plan is to make sure that all cards report a zero balance. I applied in the same month so that they all age together.  I don’t plan on applying for any more credit this year. What is an appropriate amount of time to wait before I request a limit increase? Thanks in advance for all responses! :smileyhappy:

Hi quick question:

I have 4 HSBC cards that are now paid in full – in good standing ….I want to cancel them because of Annual fees and high interest rates, my question is,

When you pay off cards……How long should I wait before applying for new cards. I read I should try to get credit with other cc companies with no annual fees before canceling any cards I hold now. ( basically replace the cards I have now)

Please note my scores below.

Thanks
