I am looking for a card that I can use to gain lots of points for free hotel stays and airline tix. My scores are listed below in my sig. Any suggestions out there. I usually stay at hotels more throughout the year than I do fly. Recent approvals with score could help also.

Applied and received Chase Freedom card 06/2008. PC’d to Sapphire (when it was offered), about 10/2009. Always PIF monthly, current balance -7.21 (credit balance).Â

Rewards are minimal on Sapphire unless you travel and use concierge services. Only redeeming value is phone number goes directly to CSR in US.

Called and asked to PC back to Freedom card (for the 3% rewards. CSR tried to convince me the Sapphire was superior to Freedom card in spite of the difference in cash back rewards. Thanked her profusely and insisted they consider PC to Freedom card.Â

She called supervisor and said "No, sorry, no way to get PC from Sapphire to Freedom.
