Shouldn’t a collection come off of all 3 of your reports at the same time, since the DOFD is the same?  On what basis would they come off several months apart (say more than 6 months)?

The Twelve collection I had left on my report are all for medical.  Seven of them just dropped and yet my Score hasn’t changed.  Other then those five old medical collections I haven’t had a negative in over 3 years.  I do have more then 65% util on my CC’s.  Any ideas as to why my score stayed the same?

Good morning!

I have 4 small medical bills that have all been given to the same CA ($490 4/2009 – $1,129 4/2008 – $267 2/2007 – $2,451 11/2005).  I want to write PFD letters.  Should I include all 4 accounts in the same letter or should each account have it’s own letter?  If separate, should I send them all at the same time?  And lastly, (again, if separate) should I start with the oldest, highest amount or does the order not matter.  Thanks to all that respond!

Are these 2 letters one in the same? Or do you send a Verification letter to a CA first, if they respond, then send a Validation letter?

Do you send a request for a letter of deletion before these letters or after, or both?

Thanks

I did an online dispute to remove old addresses and disputed a couple of CA accounts that were also being reported by OC and they were deleted.  I went ahead an purchased todays score and it went up ten points.  I guess I’ll do the same with TU now.

has anyone had success or experience using a non-disclosure agreement to achieve essentially the same result as PFD?

i’ve sent a round of PFD letters with no luck.  all i have received so far are validation letters.  it’s well known that CAs are reluctant to agree to PFD, but NDA may allow them to sleep better knowing that the word ‘delete’ is not in the agreement.

just wondering….

   Hello All,

    I have a bit of an issue here that I am not sure what to do about.  I have 3 of the same item reporting on my EQ Report and 2 of the same items reporting on my EX Report;  The creditor is County of San Bernardino CS;

Equifax:

1st tradeline: SBC CS Division (1 late in 5/2010, now reporting as being pd; )  Balance $44k;  THIS TRADELINE IS CURRENTLY ACCURATE

2nd tradeline: “                          ” (tons of lates starting from 7/2005; same acct number as above; Balance $43k; Likewise THIS TRADELINE IS ACCURATE

3rd tradeline: “                           ” (no lates reporting; Transfer/Sold; Balance $0 (I assume this tradeline does not have a negative impact)

Experian:

1st tradeline: SBC CS Division (tons of lates, starting 7/2005) Balance N/A; Transfered Closed;

2nd tradeline: “                        “   (a few lates in 2008; Nothing mentioned about paying on time now – since July 2010* Balance $45k; different account number than above;

My question is, can the same business report more than once w/ the same CRA? although the info may be accurate can they have more than 1 tradeline? If not can someone please advise what I should do to get the other TL’s off?  I am assuming for the tradelines that have different acct numbers they CAN have more that 1 tradeline, but what about the TL”s that have the same acct numbers?

Thanks In Advance  :)

help – not sure what to do. I just recieved a collection letter from a CA that looks to be the same amount $472 for an electric bill that I already settled with another CA over a year ago.

What are my first steps? should I do a DV? should I call the OC? been trying clean my CR for so long and what the heck is this??

I am currently shopping  for a mortgage and I have a civil judgment that is due to fall off 2013. The  issue is that its  over 10 years old and it keeps updating. I was never served  properly with the original papers.  The 2nd time they resubmitted to the court, I had moved to another apt in the same building and I was never served . It was originally $700 now its $1900. I also have a charge off that was $600 and now its $1600 due to come off in 2012.

Please advise me as to  how to clean my report.

Thank you.
