Boeing Co’s 747-8 Intercontinental, the new passenger version of its legendary jumbo jet, began its maiden flight on Sunday, marking a key milestone for the aircraft model more closely associated with Boeing than any other plane.

The behemoth began its first test flight from Boeing’s Paine Field near Seattle into clear blue, skies at 9:58 a.m. local time. The take-off, witnessed by thousands of Boeing employees and aviation enthusiasts, occurred almost 42 years after the first flight of the original 747, which later became one of the most recognized planes in the world. The flight was set to last about four hours, concluding at 2 p.m. at Boeing Field in Seattle.

Just wanted to add another quick post to the RJM Acquisitions success stories that I’ve been seeing around the forums.

I made some impatient mistakes on this one and still managed to get a PFD on only 39% of the original balance of $1650.  Here’s the story:

$1650 on an overdrawn and closed Washington Mutual checking account and still 6 months inside of SOL.  I should have waited until I was clear of SOL but I was excited from some of the things I’ve read on the forums about RJM (namely, that they are really easy to work with).  I sent an email DV to two addresses I found from googling “RJM Acquisitions email” and received a response 2 days later verifying the debt and suggesting I pay the full amount.

I immediately responded with an emailed PFD offering $650, and received a settlement confirmation PDF indicating that they will delete all negative reporting once they receive my payment of $650!  Couldn’t have been easier!

I’ll update with more info once I make the payment.

I got a letter in the mail from a Commercial Recovery Systems.  I think they are a total scam and a backwoods firm.  They told me I had a Citibank Card and that I owed $2,500.  I called Citibank as I knew I never had a card with them and they verified that. The CA could provide me no details of the original account and told me it was 9 years old.  So it does not matter and I am done with them.

However I checked my credit today and they did a hard pull inquiry on my credit report.  I never authorized this and was never even informed that they did this.  I have not applied for credit in over 6 years.  So now that is my only inquiry.  Are they allowed to do this?

Now I am afraid and they are going to put some crazy collection on my credit report that is was never mine and they said was 9 years old (from date of 1st del), and I know they can’t , but they could just say it is 2 years old and try and get money out of me.

My credit is in the mid 600′s now.  I swear now the vultures are coming after me and I am having to protect my credit and watch for scams.  This did not happen when it was in the 400′s.  LOL.

If I had a debt from the original creditor that was assigned to the collection agency and I paid the collection agency, I know the collection will update their records but does that automatically update the original creditor records as well?

I’m stumped.

There is a collection that was reported on my credit in December. I caught it the same month, disputed it immediately. I had never been contacted by the collection agency by phone or mail and had no knowledge of the original creditor, nor had I received contact. TU and Equifax removed the collection but today I got an email from Experian that the debt had been verified and would remain on my report until 2015.

What is my next step?

In 2005 I started my credit repair and for the last 4 and 1/2 years everything has been great…..I even bought a house in 2009…….So today i get an email from my credit monitoring service and I see that a previously deleted entry was added back to Experian….It was a $75 Medical Bill from 2006; PARAGON REVENUE GROUP is the collector however I dont recall if they were the original collector.

Anybody have any advice as to what I should do??
