I sent  a pfd letter to portfolio recovery this morning offering 50% of the original amount of debt, shortly after I received an email from a saying they were not permitted to grant that by email and that I would need to call their customer care line (and gave me the number). My question is, should I call? I never ever want to to to a CA over the phone but am unsure what my next step should be. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I have an account that was opened in 2003 but paid off in 2006 but shows slow pay. Is it best to leave it or remove it ?

Also, I bought a car in 2/2010 my credit scores at the time were all in the 650 range but now they have all dropped into the 550-600 range is this due to the number of  of inquiries that were done trying to get financing they appartently sent application to every finance company available, because inquiries on that day show to be about 10.

I worked so hard to get it into the 650′s shooting for my 700′s  i am just devasted that it was that easy for someone to bring me down.

Does anyone know the number to AT&T Collections? I googled but can’t find anything that works.

West Asset is showing up on my credit report (not outside of SOL) so I’m hoping if I contact AT&T I can pay with them for deletion.

I get a call from these guys 4 or 5 times a day, but no one ever speaks, they just hang up.  I looked up the number and got these people.  I have never received a dunning notice from them, they are not on my credit, and I have no idea what to do about this.  They are calling my cell and I am tired of them calling, but I also see a lot of people talking about how they got in trouble for random billing of people so I am not inclined to jsut send them a letter asking what they have on file for me and giving them my ssn, address, etc.

any suggestions?
