Well, I got sent to collections by COX and on the notice it shows that I owe 600 something for equipment (which is sitting in my garage) … So when I go return it, do I need to contact COX directly to get that taken off? How does that work?!
I want to get it taken care of before it shows on my report–

Just got a notification that my score went down. Only 4 points but still. I haven’t pulled a report yet. But the notice states that it’s from Financial Credit Service. This is a collections agency. I have no collections on my report and if there is anything I’ve been rebuilding for a while and there is nothing less than 7.5 years. Any thoughts on how I should proceed?

Sent off some GW letters and got my first responce from Aspen Credit Card. The wonderful words “We have instructed the credit bureaus to delete the Aspen trade line from your credit report. Please allow 30 to 60 days for your credit report to be updated.”

Got the notice in the mail today, but noticed the account was off my report yesterday. Yay!
