Where to begin…? HELP!

Hello Everyone!

 

I need a little help.  I filed BK in 10/10 – now I would like to try to get some of the accounts deleted.  I want to PFD and GW them and see if the companies will cooperate.  

 

One question I have – if both the CA and the OC are reporting – who should I go to first to ask for the deletion/PFD?  If one agrees to delete  -what do I do with the other one?

GW Success Timing?

In the last week I have sent out about 25 GW letters requesting the deletion of late payments on various accounts. Now I’m playing the waiting game and I’m curious when other success stories have seen the deletions. I know some people have never received a response at all, but the late was still deleted. So generally, if successful, is there a general timeframe of when the deletion will probably happen? Is it possible to see something within days, weeks, months, etc? Basically, should I stop obsessively checking my credit report every day? haha :)

how long is the deletion date from transunion and equifax in tx and how can a 5 yr old verizon wireles thats achargoff go into collection again in 09 as a new collection look at my previous post can i dispute please help

Collection Agency or Original Creditor

Before I discovered this site, I went ahead and paid my collections off with the collection agency.  I now would like to get this items off of my CR, my question is who should I contact about this matter.  The original creditor or the collection agency.  Two were paid in full and one was settled for a lesser amount.  When sending the GW letter, do I ask for the deletion of the collection entirely?
