I sent a letter registered mail to PCB collection about fifteen days ago for pay for delete still waiting for a reply.

I have no collection on my fico. This suddenly appeared from 2006. It seem that PCB deals with medical collection.

What should be my next step.

Thanks,

Okley75.

well i just wanted to share a little bit of good news…

i had a student loan that went into default, i went through the rehabilitaion program, and it was taken over by a new company. originally through AES it is not through Suntrust bank. i wrote a letter to AES requesting that since my loan was no longer with them, could they do something about the negative mark on my credit report. well, they changed the status to account  closed. transferred to another lender and instead of being listed as potentially negative, it was changed to unknown. (whatever that means) anyways, it helped my score go up 6 points. not much, but hey, i’m now 6 points higher than i was last week so i consider that a good way to go.

i’m still waiting for an account with RJM to be deleted. I sent them a PFD to settle and i went from owing them $200, to paying them $79.82 with an agreement to delete! they said they had 45 days to delete, so i’m patiently waiting for that to happen, but i believe that they’ll do it. can’t wait to see the score go up after that.

slowly but surely, i’m moving up, and i couldn’t have done it without all the great advice i get from this forum! thank you to EVERYONE who has answered my posts!

I just had a tax lien judgement deleted from Experian and Equifax CRA, still waiting on Transunions… Experian jumped from 586 to 637 – but Equifax didn’t budge. Should I not expect to see a jump in points?

Hi guys, first off I would like to thank everyone for all the good advice on this board. It has helped me raise my EQ score from 560 to 603 and TU 559 to 574 in 2 months. I am hoping to purchase my first home in May of 2011. I have 3 charge offs that I have PFD’d, they all are for small amounts, still waiting for a response,  I also have a paid judgment that I would like to get removed but am unsure of how to do it. Any and all advice will be helpful on getting it removed.

I sent GW emails to chase executives, Today I recieved a call from credit card executive rep saying that he would delete three of the cc accounts that I paid off. I still have another that I feel behind on mainly because I didnt revieve statements and didnt realize it until too late. He said they have to keep reporting that. I recely paid it down $459.00 but still have 1500 more to go. My main problem now is a CO installment loan from them. The credit card rep said he couldnt help me with that and transfered me to the loan rep. She was not as helpful and I couldnt get her to make any adjustment to the CO. I am really need to get an auto loan but am having no progress. I have got current on all accounts but I have to wait until chase updates for it to show. Also I have apprx $3000 I am planning to use on a auto downpayment would it be better to pay of my cc I have a 5800.00 balance on a 6900 limit. I think I also had sucess with capitial one they were reporting 150 days late to experian, but the other 2 CA says paid as agrred. I call executive customer service number I googled an was able to get someone to agree that there was a mistake. I am still waiting on HSBC the executive rep said he will work on it and get back to me.

I have been on this boards trolling for a while. It is so frustrating and embarrassing to get denied for a loan over and over again. Here’s my gripe.

The only active activity I have are 2 credit cards that I opened in 2008 and last year. Both have small credit lines $250-$300, I opened it thinking it will help me at least get my credit score moving. I have been paying on time, if anything paying it down, but it doesnt seem to do anything.

My credit score is the same as it was last year. Ilecs have been gracious enough to give me some advice on what steps I need to take. I have done some, still waiting on others. I just have to say, having bad credit doesnt necessarily mean bad people, there are circumanstances in our lives (for me, 2005 was a BAD BAD year) that sometimes we have to make a choice.  I would like to get my scores moving, be at a decent score where I can buy a house and go from there.

It doesnt help that you make $100K a year – no one seems to look at that. I am sometimes amazed how some people (no judgements here, just from what I read) are able to obtain a loan, have lower scores than I do, make less and yet get approved.

I am at a stand still. :(

ive been dealing with a collection on my reports and studying these forums ever since I found them.  I’ve sent repeated PDFs to both OC and CA, figured out it could(should?) be a HIPAA thing, so I put the hippa process in place.

I sent the pre-hipaa letters to all 3 credit bureaus about 10 days ago, and I got back a letter from TU today that they DELETED the collection?!?  I looked at an updated report and sure enough, its gone.

I have no idea why they deleted it but I’ll sure as h#*& take it.

still waiting to hear from the other two CRAs.

just wanted to throw this out here since other people’s success stories seemed to keep me motivated.  This stuff works.

later,

Scott

I started at 420 about 2 years ago. Today even though I am still waiting for 2 PFD’s to come off I could no longer resist.

EQ- 647

TU- 685

What do you guys think? I still have 2 CA’s that have promised to delete within the next 30 days. My foreclosure is more than 5 years old now. Do you think my score will improve much at all when the 2 CA’s drop off?

I’m still really pleased that it has increased this much. We really want to buy a home soon.

I recently DVed a few collections and two immediately were removed by NCO & Enhanced Recovery. I was a little surprised as I didn’t originally dispute these so it’s good to know that you can still DV after. I’m still waiting to hear back from Arrow & Midland(They have two weeks). They are still reporting monthy lates and driving down my score.

My question is NCO committed several legal violations. Dispite the fact they removed themselves do I still have a case?

Thanks!
