Debt Validation Letters (is this true?)

ive been researching and ive heard twice so far from lawfirms like (lexington law) that you should not send out DV’s to collections agency that you owe more then $750.00 to, that it will cause them to put a judgement against you and sue in court… IS THIS TRUE?

 

the lady was really nice over at lexingtion and we were on the phone for about an hour and thats one of the many things she shared with me

I am still showing a collection on my wife’s credit report from Verizon for a land phone line.   She paid off the collection several months ago.   My understanding is that this should not be on her credit reports, since this is telecom and not a cell phone.   However, it is showing as a paid collection on TU (it is not showing on EQ).

It amazes me that by sheer coincidence the SEC sues Goldman-Sachs on a Friday, when on Monday the Democratic controlled U.S. Senate is attempting to pass legislation taking on the big banks, and today the Senate Finance Committee Chairman says Republicans should not try to stop the “reforms” because the Goldman-Sachs lawsuit is a perfect example of what can happen without the proposed controls.

The article on Toyota wanting a level playing field on car sales is absolute bull..  They should not have been able to get in on cash for clunckers that was a incentive for the AMERICAN economy not Japans… Toyota’s vehicles are the ones killing people with their computer problems first blamed on floor mats,then a shim. and AMERICAN people are still buying them.  Now they are talking about a level playing field !!!!!!!!!  their markets are closed to AMERICAN products. A level playing field should work both ways..  BUT IT DOESN”T.. 

How to get a Hospital to write a GW letter

i am trying to convince the bookeeper at a small hospital in Kona Hawai,i to fax me a letter saying, that I paid the bill on time and that it should not have  been turned into collections.  The bookeeper is hestant to do that, but only faxed a letter saying that the bill was paid.  Equifax told my loan officer that the letter from the hospita, l must say that it was paid on time and should not have went to colllections. Is there anything else to put on the letter that would help my FICO?
