I sent a GW letter to cap1 on 1/26 to remove a couple of 30 day lates. I sent letters to disputes, correspondence, and to the CEO. Today I gotta call from someone in the cap1 executive office and she said that they are required to report to the blah blah blah…. So they will not remove them.

What should I do next?  Keep sending letters?

Anyone have contact info for Countrywide now owned by Bank of America for GW to remove lates 2+ years ago on my Mortgages?

I sent letters 30 days ago to the address listed on my credit reports without any word back, and was wondering if anyone had an inside email or contact info that may speed the process along?

Thanks!!

There is one entry on my credit report that confuses me. It is listed under the installment section as “AAC”. AAC is apparently a collection agency that had my Bank of Marin account at one time. Bank of Marin, the OC, is not listed anywhere. In the collections section, there is a listing for Asset Acceptance. That is the agency  that has called, sent letters, etc and that I ultimately made payment arrangements through (now paid). The Asset Acceptance listing (CA) has been updated to “paid” but the AAC (under installment, but not the OC or the current CA) is still listed as “derogatory”.

Should that be on the listing in duplicate since AAC is neither the original creditor (Bank of Marin) or the current collecting agency? If not, what should I use to dispute that?

I’ve been trying to remove inquiries, some that were mine (LOL) but also some that were not. I’ve sent letters to the CRA’s AND the individual companies, with no responses at all. Does anyone have any advice?
