I will be graduating in the summer and have been looking into the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLFP).  I will be graduating from a doctoral program.  Upon entering the program, I consolidated all of my undergraduate Direct Loans (Stafford subsidized and unsubsidized) with Nelnet.  I currently have Direct Loans (Stafford and Graduate Plus) which are would be included in the PSLFP.  Is it possible to include the Nelnet consolidated loans into this program since they were originally Direct Loans?

The below URL is revelaing as to how the financial power brokers benefit from TARP when selling a “short sale” to the public.  If this is what the Feds intended it is a disgrace.  If this is an example of big government programs leading to unintended consequences it is a disgrace.  Anyway you slice it is a disgrace.  And as a conservative independent registered voter I am a strong proponent of a free market system.  But when the government intervenes – Katy bar the door!

Ok…I paid mostly all of my debt off last month.  Paid off one credit card, Paid off one that is less than 7% of my Debt Ratio.  I was so wicked syked…then I get an alert that my credit score dropped by 17 points.  I did a side by side comparsion from last month and the new Credit Score and I found that on my recent report: My huge collection was gone, and my Revolving Account debt ratio decreased by $610.00 because I was paying money towards them last month.     Nothing else changed in the Inquiries nor do I have anything in my Public Records.  In the past when I lowered my Debt Ratio, paid off Collections and things dropping from my accounts my points use to go up…now they are going down when I did the “right thing” IMHO.

I need some expert opinions because this has made me very upset :smileymad: and baffled at the same time.

Hello all,

So it appears that Experian is no longer offering a FICO score to the public so may I ask what is the score that you can pay for through the Experian website?

https://experian.experiandirect.com/tripleadvantage/Order1.aspx?areaid=22&pkgid=X2THZ&SiteVersionID=884&SiteID=100219&sc=670087&bcd=TAred0110&mboxSession=1293556572201-860600

This is a triple advantage score from the Experian website available for a $1. If this is not your true score why would Experian be selling it?

Thanks!

a collection is not on your public record section, but a judgement is correct?         also, arrow financial has been sending various CA’s after me (by mail and phone) the past couple of years, but none ever posted a collection on my report  (only arrow financial, but not under “collections”) but NCO just posted a collection for an old elec bill….. think arrow might not have a lot of proof or material to validate? (its an old card that isnt offered anymore).

Hello,

I will be receiving a Warrant of satisfaction from the attorney that represented Discover Card bank which is the only baddie on my report originally filed 06/04.

If I send the Warrant of satisfaction to all the credit reporting agencies, will this remove the public record? This is in New Jersey.

Thanks!

So, I know that freecreditreport.com doesn’t actually give you a FICO score… I realize that.  BUT here’s the perdicament:

I pulled my myfico scores both EQ and TU this week (twice, lol I had a jump and I couldn’t wait to see it :) .  I’m sitting at 626 EQ and 609 TU with a major baddie on it that’s gonna be paid this week (Public record for tax lien).

Again, I KNOW that freecreditreport.com doesn’t give you actual FICO scores BUT the freecreditreport doesn’t show the public record reporting.  In fact, it says I have no public records.  My freecreditreport.com score is a 640 for EX with no public record.  Is this accurate at all?

THANKS!!!!!!
