Has anyone had any success with a PFD with HSBC, if so, please tell you’re story.  I am currently contemplating sending them an offer on a 5 year old debt to get it off my report.  It is a charge-off that I want them to take off.  I appreciate any insight…

Hello everyone, It seem as if it is taking forever for my score to rise. I started cleaning my credit report last year because I want to be a home owner. I have one Cap One card unsecured just got it 03-01-11 and a NFCU Secured Credit Card which I got 07-01-10, and my Fico score is still low.  My FICO score TU is 582 and my EQ Fico score is 575. I really want to start the process of buy a home by the end of this year. Can some one please tell me what I can do to help raise my score faster. :smileysad:

I went to annual credit score and they said I already did it this yr. So where else can I go. I am a get r done kinda guy, and I am so confused about what steps to take now. Everytime I post I get more confused. lol.  I just want to fix my credit, I have 6 account in collections, that I can pay in full if I wanted to. I want to fix my credit so I am trying to see what the smartest thing to do is. I get different answer all the time, pay them off, don’t pay them , send a letter to validate, send a pfd. Can some one please tell me the dummy way of doing this. I just need someone to say, do this, send this which you get here, and do that. Please and thank you

Has anyone used Lexington Law to rebuild their credit?

I just signed up yesterday but I am unsure if I should pay the  $100. I could very well put that toward by CC. What exactly do they do that I can’t do? Do they have a little more pull when the CC companies see the letter with their logo on it as oposed to me just sending a letter in?

If anyone has any experience with them please share. And if you don’t have the experience please  share anyway.

I would like to know if anyone did the whole disputing process, please tell me everything you did. I was told they would be sending letters to the credit bureaus for validation and to the  CC companies? If the CC companies validate the debt do I then mail them GW letters???

Heeelllppppppp…

Hello all!

When I was younger, I was stupid.  Plain and simple.  However, 7+ years later, I haven’t missed payments…however, those delinquent accounts (car/CC) are still showing on my credit report!  They were never reported to collections and there was never any agency involved.  No bankruptcy…nothing…someone please tell me why this would be?  I thought 7 years was the cut off.  Those accounts had been closed or inactive, yet the negative history still remains?
