I want to get my credit back but just don’t know how to do it right. Can’t get a car loan dur to low score, had a bad spell few years ago with past due utilities but that is it no repos or bankrups no bad loans and I have no credit cards or debts. Have a decent job for the area, but just cant get a break. I need advice.

When an account is sold to a collection agency how should the balance be reporting for the original creditor?

Balance as $20.00

Amount past due $20.00

Hello,  I’ve spent a couple of hours looking for the answer to my question on the Boards.  I’m sure it’s here somewhere but I can’t find it.

I have some negative reports (past due) from 1988, 2002 & 2003.  I thought CRTP was 7 years.

Can I have these removed, and how do I do that?

Thanks!  Eastenderann

I received a letter from a law firm for a past due credit card and I think a civil suit has been filed.  Not sure if it is for garnishment or just getting the bill paid but I need to know my options when it went this far.  Should I contact law firm and try to set up payments or what choices do I have?

Hello,

I have been sending pfd’s to first premier hoping to get someone to accept it (I know they usually don’t)  I got a response the other day and it basically said they don’t do them (which I knew) and I needed to contact Pinnacle.

Pinacle is not on my credit report and First Premier says I am past due 445.00 any thoughts on my next move? who can I pay??

I completed a deed in lieu in May 2010. Experian reported it as:

Account History:
Creditor received deed as of May 2010
180 days past due as of Oct 2009 to Apr 2010
150 days past due as of Sep 2009
120 days past due as of Aug 2009
90 days past due as of Jul 2009
60 days past due as of Jun 2009
30 days past due as of May 2009

Status: Creditor received deed

This deal began as a short sale offer submitted in June 2009 and then a very long wait for approval in December 2009 followed by a failed closing due to seller financing falling through. I then requested a deed in lieu of foreclosure in March 2010 which was a surprisingly smooth process. Do I have any recourse on getting the lates reduced to at least 90 days since there was an offer on the table for 6 months? Shoud I try – my credit score is now 641 down from 758 before late payments.
