I am in the process of doing the finance paperwork for a house I’m purchasing. First, I am unable to locate my W-2 forms from 2007. Can I request this from the IRS? My other related question: Can the IRS issue electronic versions of my W-2′s? The mortgage company wants everything sent to them electonically – does that mean I have to get hard copies, scan them, and then email them? This seems excessively cumbersome.

I have a mortgage being processed with Emery Federal, a subcontractor. The original company that they were using went under while my loan was in being processed. I had to be swapped over, and approved with Chase instead. The original company was financing at a 106%, while Chase will only finance 102% according to my mortgage officer. What it boils down to, is I have gone from getting my earnest money back, to having to pay $ 2200.00 dollars. My question is, do I have a leg to stand on with having Emery Federal credit me money to cover the difference? It was not our fault the company went under, and the paperwork we signed states all the above information, at 106% and no money at time of closing. Thanks!

 

We found a house we want to purchase. The house is listed for sale by the owners. The gf is wanting to use a realtor to help with the purchase of the house. what exactly would they do? we are financed threw a mortgage company and the seller is the home loan offer at one of the banks here in town so we shouldn’t need help with paperwork. What would be the benefits of useing a realtor?

we got a realtor and went through the process of searching for a home. finally found a home we liked and put a contract on the home.
we payed the earnest money, appraisal fee and option fee for a total of 950.00. we were told that we were approved for 100% financing of which there is no such thing. the mortgage company told the seller that we were approved so go ahead and move out. she did.closing date was set . underwriters and loan company had a problem exchanging paperwork and we could not close on the date set. a new date was set and we had to file an extension on the earnest money contract. mortgage company changed their minds and defaulted on the loan. is this common and is it legal?

 

okay, i am living with my ex-husband, i put a stop on child support because we are trying to work our problems out, i have since moved back in with him, (a little history) i had an apartment, had a good job,in another city. i moved back in with him moved to another city,quit my job gave up my apartment, he has an alcohol problem(hence the divorce) we were divorced 2 yrs. he went through a halfway house, went to aa, while in the halfway house he did great, he has been out for about a year, in the meantime we have purchased and remodeled this house, got his business back on track, its been a bumpy road, well now the problem is i divorced him because of his drinking it was not the kind of environment i wanted to raise our daughter, but now the drinking is worse, our daughter is older and now understands whats going on, he disappears for like weeks at a time. he is on drugs now, the problem is worse. to help with everything i sold the car i had, i have since been driving a company car, i took all my 401 k and tied up in this house. its in his name only,1st mistake! now i want to get my daughter out of this situation, i have asked that he buy me a car, and give some of my money back, he tells me there is no money!! i can get the records of the checks i wrote to the company to show what i invested, i have the copies of the paperwork when i sold my car through his carlot, he wants or expects me to move with nothing he just threatened that the some of the checks i have wrote paying the bills and mortgage with his ck account that i signed he was going after me for signing his name, reporting the company car stolen, and he wont pay anymore bills on the house, now a couple weeks ago, i caught him in a motel with another woman, while he was on his binge. i have tried talking like adults to him, i dont want to live like this, this is not a good situation for our daughter,she saw also, he is blaming me!!! now i have never done drugs, and dont have an alcohol problem, i want out of this mess, is there anything legally i can do? since i moved i have been helping him with his carlot and taking care of our child. i feel like im going crazy when he left over a week ago he didnt leave us any money, i called him and asked for some he told me to go to hell, but yesterday called and said he was buying a whole new wardrobe, but there is no money, he says he doesnt have any!!! by law can he report this vehicle stolen? i have been driving this car for about 2 weeks, i change car frequently(hence carlot), can i get in trouble if i pawn anything in the house?(hence money) my family is out of state, i have nobody here to help me, he has his family here and they are siding with him, i expect that, but what are my rights!!! is there any thing or any suggestions on what to do? i will be going to reopen the child support, its been 3yrs since i closed it, i dont know what to do its like because he is so screwed up its all my fault, i feel like if he doesn’t want to be here and doesn’t want us here do the right thing!! am i being unreasonable? as wanting money and a decent car to be able to leave! i know its not my fault because he is a screw up and has a drinking and drug problem, more than i can deal with my daughter is scared of him, thank god he hasnt been home. what can i do to help protect us, i cant change the locks, it takes money, help!!!!

 

Okay, our offer was accepted Jan. 9, and the seller’s bank (short sale) said they had a deadline to close of Feb.9. Okay, now, the seller has to make any repairs, and his city inspector’s pos expires on the 24th. So, our realtor is saying if we close by the 23rd, he won’t have to pay the fee all over again. And the seller is fixing those call outs. Our mortgage guy says, yes we can!! lol. But, we really need to know if it is truly possible. The paperwork (signatures) from the seller just got submitted to our mortgagor on the 14th. Is it possible we could be moving this weekend, or are we looking at the 9th of Feb.?
Well, it did in fact take 3 months to hear anything form the bank besides ofcourse the seller actually accepting our offer. Once the sellers’ bank accepted the offer as well, the process begun. What I am asking, is if a bank (ours) can move that fast, from what I understand, the seller’s bank really has done thier part as well as the seller.

 

Here’s the situation:
My mother’s house is being foreclosed on. She owes the bank over $ 34,000 and hasn’t paid a mortgage in over two years. She is the custodian of my two younger siblings, 16 and 10. She plans to live out of state and wants to leave my siblings with me, which I welcome since I’m not entirely comfortable with her being the main caretaker. (She’s schizophrenic and has been Baker acted 5 times, has been deemed an unfit mother on more than one occasion [and the judge still saw fit to give her custody over my dad] so you can understand why.) My dad isn’t allowed to have custody of the kids for another 7 months and then only if he has a job and a place to live.
SO, I’m trying to find out of signing over custody is as simple as putting your signature on a bunch of paperwork, or will DCF get involved to check out living conditions? I also live with my boyfriend and I’m wondering if that would put a kink in getting custody of my brother and sister. My sister is also disabled, she has 22q. If anyone has dealt with this or could direct me to where I can find out some answers (I’ve been googling like mad) I’d appreciate it. Thanks!

 

All right I know its a little long but if you could just take a minute to read any advice would be helpful.Two years ago me and my husband and or 2 kids moved to VA to be a part of my mother- in- laws business. We were under the impression that everything was going ok and they needed my husbands help because the company was growing so fast. They owned a home that my family moved into and within a month my in-laws had it appraised. It was appraised for $ 400,000. So they decided to remortgage the house to get a loan for the company. They did not qualify due to all their personal debt so my husband signed and they co-signed. It ended up not working out up there for us so me and my family moved to TN and for a year they have paid the house note moved back in and all was well. Recently they called and said they were selling the company, the IRS was taking all the money from the sell, they had taken out a 2nd mortgage on the house without my husbands signature but the bank was under the impression that the paperwork was being faxed to him to sign – we had no idea this was going on. They want us to file bankruptcy so that they walk away , I think we need a lawyer but I just dont know where to start. Any thoughts???
