Has anyone used Lexington Law to rebuild their credit?

I just signed up yesterday but I am unsure if I should pay the  $100. I could very well put that toward by CC. What exactly do they do that I can’t do? Do they have a little more pull when the CC companies see the letter with their logo on it as oposed to me just sending a letter in?

If anyone has any experience with them please share. And if you don’t have the experience please  share anyway.

I would like to know if anyone did the whole disputing process, please tell me everything you did. I was told they would be sending letters to the credit bureaus for validation and to the  CC companies? If the CC companies validate the debt do I then mail them GW letters???

Heeelllppppppp…

I have been a Police Officer for 12 years and have a salery of $85,000. I’ve been trying to raise my credit score to atleast 620. A year ago.. I paid off everything that was owed and since have opened a new Car loan, 2 CC’s and one small loan of $2,500. I have been paying on time every month. I also joined Lexington Law Firm to help remove items that are subject to removal. I seem to NOT be able to get my score above 585. What can I do to reach my goal and CONTINUE raising the score. Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello,

I am currently a member of Lexington Law Firm, and they have done wonders for my credit reports.  I do have a few negative items remaining.  Namely, a credit card and car repo I got stuck with from a messy divorce.  I have tried PFD letters which I have sent out twice but I never get a response.  Can anyone give me guidance on what I should do next?  The credit card is handled by SST, the car was with American Honda Finance and I also sent one for a Dish Network collection through AFNI.  Any help is much appreciated.

Has anyone used Lexington Law firm with any success?I have a repo and a broken lease I would like to get rid of off my report.I tried to negotiate a settlement with no success.

How is this done?  The FTC doesn’t look into individual disputes. The BBB says they wont get involved in matters about credit reporting.  The AG’s office says they can only work as a mediator.  Is a private attorney the only way to enforce your rights?  How is Lexington Law firm?

Any help is appreciated…….

Hello,

I have been reading a lot about the rebuilding process, and I have a lot of work to do to get my FICO score where I would like it to be. I don’t understand the processes involved (DV, Dispute, HIPAA, etc.), nor do I think I have the time to do the leg work involved.

I would like to know how people have fared with credit repair services like Lexington Law or Unified Credit Services. The prices for both are steep, but it would certainly save me money in the end. I have some entries that I feel certain can be removed, including a judgment from a medical debt where I was never served or provided any other documentation relative to the court date or the resulting judgment. I also have another judgment from a personal dispute where my CR indicates a nearly $600 discrepancy on the final judgment amount.

Please let me know of your experience with Lexington Law and / or Unified Credit Services or similar.

Thanks!

I have been trying to get my scores up to at least a 640 to get approved for a USDA loan. I have worked with Lexington Law since November and they have gotten several items deleted for me. When i checked my scores the last time they were EX 536 EQ 530 TU 522. I have more CA on my credit file and I had some lates that were reported by Sallie Mae that are still under investigation. Also, there are some medical bills that werent paid. I only have about 30 more days of waiting for something to increase my scores…I have one credit card with a $250 limit that I paid down to $75. My auto loan is current, but the bank hasnt reproted since Sept 2009. Do i need to call them and have them report again??

Is there anything that I can do to get the scores up before the end of March??
