I emailed RJM and Afni two PFD letters and haven’t heard from either of them. I emailed the letter to Afni and received a settlement offer via snail mail without the PFD for less than the amount I offered!  I emailed them last week, but I thought I would receive a quick response. The collection from RJM will fall off 4/2011 but I wanted to pay it to make sure it wouldn’t keep bothering me. I offered a 50% settlement on that one.

Do I wait the 15 days as I stated in my letter? Should I resend the emails? Send them a pfd or dv via snail mail? I’m not sure what to do now.

I had a collection account from Midland that was showing up on all three credit reports.  Suddenly last week, my Experian FAKO score jumped 20 points up and the only difference was that the Midland account was no longer showing on my Experian report.  It is still posted on on EQ and TU.

I disputed this with all three bureaus in June and they all came back as verified as mine.  I just sent a DV letter to Midland two weeks ago with no reply .  Is the EXP drop a mistake?  Can it come back on to the EXP report later?  I am hoping that the DV caused the change on EXP and that EQ and TU are going to drop Midland too.  Any thoughts?

So last week went really well and I was able to get a medical deleted and a PFD.  This week I got to denials for GW.  One from HSBC and the other from Progressive Insurance. My question is what do I do now?  I sent emails/letters to both presidents and they were nice enough to respond (or have someone respond for them) but both stated that they can not “change” past history.  I was asking for a 30 day removal on HSBC and a PFD from Progressive.  I originally sent a PFD to NCO for the Progressive account but they did not respond.

So I signed my DH up for CCT last week b/c I am a member & pay the $9.95 monthly fee.  Well when I called in today to cancel I was offered a rate @ $17.95, when I questioned that amount I was advised that they added new features & raised the amount.  Just wanted to pass that info along to you guys.

I have a broken lease sent to a CA in Texas, which has a SOL of 4 years.I just moved to Mississippi last week which has a SOL of 3years.Is this collection under the TX SOL or MS.I would like to send the CA a out of SOL letter and begin to negotiate.

My current scores are as follows:

TU-489

EX-488

EQ-488

paid my BOA card down to $0 last week $500 limit

paid mastercard down to $22 last week $250 limit

paid Emblem mastercard to $350 last week $700 limit

Just got NCO collection deleted

Car loan that was charged off I was able to settle for $750 w/a PFD

Please advise if you think this is possible.

So I started pushing last week to clean up my score. I have 3 collections, 2 of which I sent PFD’s Friday 2/19… I received one letter back today saying they agree. Payment being sent tomorrow. Should I send payment CMRR? I am sending a cashier’s check, is that ok or should I do money order?

Thanks again to all of the advice on this site!!!!

I was shocked last week when I got a $10,000 CL for this Visa, and then yesterday I applied for a new mortgage so I can buy an investment property while prices and interest rates are low and found out that all my scores have gone above 700!! WooHoo!
