My hubby and I have been fighting with TU for several years over a judgment that is on both of our CR’s. They keep verifying it. We sold the home we lived in, at the time, in 9/2004 and were 3,000 miles away when this judgment was supposedly filed (10/2004). I keep disputing it with them. The court it was supposedly filed with has no record of this judgment, and will not verify any judgments when a CRA tries to verify(it states this right on their website). We are in the process of purchasing another home and have to clear this up. The tri-merge the mortgage co. pulled shows this judgment, but with no info. on who the court, or OC was, but it does show up on mine as the state we used to live in, with the court listed, but not the OC. Fighting with TU has gotten us nowhere, and I can’t contact the OC because no one has a clue who it was, not to mention how were we sued being on the opposite coast at the time?? This is a fraudulent judgment on our reports.  I am at my wits end and I need help to figure out what to do next, I have a very limited time to clear this up. Thanks for any help you can offer.
