I'm not rich and it's probably just a dream. I would like to see health care go back to Doctors and Patients

I’m not rich and it’s probably just a dream. I would like to see health care go back to Doctors and Patients. Tell me what you think about this and add input.

.

I would love to see a medical club started with the doctor in charge of the system. They would get paid every month like insurance. In return they would have to cover all cost and no one else would have a say or a part of the money. They would make the buys for meds and there would be no point in anyone getting a kickback and could control cost better as a person who knows when the cheaper stuff works just as good. The deals they make would save them money but at the same time could bankrupt them in higher cost down the road. I think it would need a gym as part of the health care and food classes would be needed as well. If the doctor gave you a system to follow you would have say 90 days to comply or be removed from the group. If you follow the doctors orders you could not be removed for a health problem. So the kind of care you get early will determine the future of the doctor.

.

The doctor I talked to about this said he liked the idea but some people would run in every day until it was broke. So if there was a gym they could say go to the gym for further study and the problem would show or in time go away and the better their health got the better the doctor would come out in the end by less cost.

.

Now for the patients input to the system. You would be a member so no going to court to get money. But criminal charges would still apply. There would need to be a system for the patients to remove the doctor if they were not serving the club like they felt was needed. Blocking the removal of a patient if they felt it was for the wrong reason. There would need to be emergency funds set aside for things not expected and future growth of the system as they feel is needed and have a place to add input in the club. Paying the doctor or doctors a percentage of the total intake would give them reason to keep people healthy to cut their cost the right way . Giving you the best health care you could get by having them work on the problems you may have before you have them to cut cost and improve their pay.

.

Think it over and add some input if you like, it may never go anywhere or someone who can make it happen may see a rich future in it.

Hello, forum members!

Â

I ran into this community today and it motivated me do some clean up on my credit report.

Â

For two times, I had a medical bill going to collection because  I was waiting for the health insurance to pay it.

Â

They were small, and I ended up being them later just to not have collection bugging me. These are their details:

Â

1: April 2007 – $332 – Paid on first collection call. Marked as “Paid” on credit report

CMRE credit

2: Jun 2008 – $862 – Paid a month later. Not marked as paid on CR. It still says open.

Bay Area Credit Service

Â

Â

Those are the only bad things I have on my credit report. I have probably another 20 accounts open with payment on time. Never a late payment on credit cards. I probably never worried about that because I didn’t foresee requests for loans and mortgages.Â

Â

Is there anything I should do? Are they old enough I shouldn’t care?Â

(I procrastinated enough and never done anything in order to not “revive” the account and reset the 7 year countdown).

Â

I am all ears for advices!

Â

Thanks in advance,

Bananas

Â

Â

My question relates to the verification request. Since the CA took it as a validation request originally, is he still required to provide validation within a specific period of time (30 days IIRC)? Does the original letter contain the requisite information? And, If not, can I have this removed from my CR if he fails to validate?Â

Â

I received this letter on July 13.

Â

Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Â

Hello,

Â

I am hoping someone could help me with a fairly basic semantics question- I received a collections notice yesterday regarding a “Final Notice ” doctor’s bill received less than a month ago (on a side note, CO law requires at least 30 days notice before being sent to collections) , for an ER visit in May of 2007. Everything I have found indicates that the SOL for medical collections in Colorado is 3 years.Â

Â

However, according to the Final Notice bill, the physicians’ group went back and forth with the insurance provider I had in May of 2007 a few times (June 2007, June 2008, November 2009) last trying to bill them November of 2009. Does the SOL period begin from the day medical services are provided, or the day that the health care provider gives up trying to bill the patient’s insurance company?Â

Â

From what I have read, CO law requires you to notify the health care provider of your insurance coverage within 30 days of services being provided- no problem, they required proof of insurance before any services were provided. It seems absurd that they would wait so long in between trying to bill my ins. provider-I’ve tried to look up statutes regarding customary billing practice guidelines or requirements, but could not find any.Â

Â

I was living in CO at the time services were provided, and still live in CO, and have only moved one time between then and now. I lived at my previous address for 18 months AFTER this ER visit, filled out a forwarding form at the post office when I moved, and the “Final Notice” nasty-gram was the first I had heard of this bill. If the SOL is 3 years, it seems really fishy the first I would hear of the bill is after 2 years 10.5 months.

Â

Thank you all for any help you may be able to provide

Hello everyone,

Â

Fairly new to posting but have been reading nonstop since I found this site. I think Im addicted to soaking up all of the information here. Also the success stories just gives you the confidence you need to do something about the health of your FICO score. My question is does anyone have contacts for GW Letters for the following OCs (should I even send GW to the OCs?)…

Â

- Chld/Cbsd

- Cap One

- Chase

- Care Gemb

- Bk Of Amer

Â

Any info will be helpful and greatly appreciated. :smileysad:

I had a bill from a Radiology place that never billed my isnurance. I moved and never got bills from them.

I had a bill from a Radiology place that never billed my isnurance. I moved and never got bills from them. Pulled CR and seen it there from 2009 (late 2009) so I called OC they said sorry. Basically, took down my insurance information and has since billed my insurance. They called CA and told them to pull it off my CR, this was on 03-03-2010, I called CA today and they told me they did pull it from all 3 CRA’s but for some reason I have not got ANY score watch alerts for this. Does it take longer? Will this brong score up maybe? Need 20 points to buy house…

Â

Another thing I would like to say is that I sent off PFD’s to Health Care coll for 4 other medical bills which are approximately at the most 2 yrs old. I will keep people updated on how those go. Anyone know if getting those off my report will make score increase at all?

Â

Sent off 2 200. checks to Orchard bank for myself and my husband for a secured credit card each, we both were pre-approved for them online, but I guess you can’t make them joint account so got one each. We have 0 DTI so I think having an account will bring up our scores some, plan on buyig hay for the hroses with them every two weeks since we spend it anyway, 60. every two weeks, pay in full each month. How long does that take to bring up scores?

Â

I have a bad check from 2005 was bad in nov 2005, paid in december 2005 shows up in one CRA twice, once as unpaid. Think a GW would do any good getting it removed from CR? Think a phone call might do it? It was for school lunches lol, sorry but to see a middle school on my CR kinda makes me laugh even though it should not be funny. $25. Global Pay is the CA, any ideas or anyone have any luck with them? Would love for it to be as easy as a phone call ya know..

Â

I broke down and bought a printer yesterday to get this stuff done instead of asking friends to print for me all the time lol, I think this will help things go a little faster and smoother.

Â

By the way, I have never been on a better board for ANYTHING this truely is like a family, and I am addicted… could be a reality tv show like biggest loser ya know.. “How many did you get deleted this week?” … “four!”      “You ARE the BIGGEST LOSER!”

Â

Anyone hear anything about this plan Obama has to stop foreclosures?… Heard somethign about it the other day, wish I had something like that when I got furloughed, my CR wouldn’t be so bad then, they should change the time a Foreclosure can stay on your CR to help those that went through it and can’t get the help they offer now. If only it were a perfect world, I remember being in the high 700 club before my furlough.

Â

Sorry for rambling…

Â

Thanks all! Â

YOU ROCK!

This problem has been asked before, and those who support the Government health care only those who have been accused of lacking medical insurance, lazy loser. However, with the collapse of the economy, this situation has changed. If you do not re-employment, no income, little savings, then your health insurance do?
