I’m new to all of this and not only am I lost in the jargon, I am completely assbackwards in where to look or what applies to me.
I’m trying to find out if MCM is licensed/bonded in my state? I’m in AZ, the only thing I found was on BBB they are bonded in California. Does that mean they are here too?
Also, is there a rookie page? How to get started on getting my stuff back on the right page?

I would like to know how long do I wait to find out what my scores are after a few months of having a couple of secured cc’s. Is there a way to get daily/weekly/monthly updates of credit scores without hurting myself? :smileyindifferent:

I’m doing well on reestablishing my credit however, there is a late payment showing as of 1 year and 11 months ago but when I review my accounts none show a late payment that recent, how do I find out which account this is referring to?

I have several accounts in collections and am wanting to get my credit straight. However, many of them on my say, “Collection on debt to: Not Reported”

How do I find out who is reporting these things? And will it help my FICO score if I can get these paid off? Most of them are only for a few hundred dollars.
I have a old rewards 660 visa card that is 120+ days late but on EQ it is showing as the OC being Dakota state bank and on TU it is showing as Meta Bank since I am not supposed to DV an OC how do I find out who to pay for this account?

I would like to find out my scores without purchasing reports, too. I have two scorepower reports, but don’t want to use them until I send the letters I am getting ready to mail to the CRAs and receive responses. Can you get scores without reports? If so, where, and how much? Thanks!
I am looking at the credit file pulled by my potential mortgage lender. On a collection account, what date is more important: last active date or date reported? I know the newer the CA is, the more damage it’s doing. What date should I be looking at to find out the age?
