I sent 3 DV Letters to 3 CAs on 2/18/11 CMRRR. I read that you should include a copy of your DL and sign the document as proof of identity.
Â
But I just read on this forum to never sign the DV letter.
Â
Did I just make a big mistake???

So I am kindof just venting, but this sucks!! I had a judgment on my credit report. Long story short, I got it vacated and sent the CRA’s a coopy of the document and they removed it. I was very happy becuase it was suppose to stay on till 12/12. Now… there is another judgment on my CR, but this is not mine. The docket number is 14067 and mine before that was removed was 14087. Just one single digit off! Someone messed something up!
Â
The weird thing is that the information listed is the same as my old one. I acyually looked up the docket number and sure enough it is in the name of someone else, but the same defendant and lawyer was used. I disputed this with the CRA’s as not mine, and it came back verified somehow. I don’t know why when it is not mine! They prolly think it is my old one they are seeing. I printed out the public form online and mailed them a dispute again. Transunion verified, EQ is removed, and stil waiting on EX.
Â
We shall see what happens with EX, but what should I do with Transunion? I am thinking I should sent a MOV so I can find out who is suppling them the information so I can contact them to get it removed. Any other ideas on what I can do? This is clearly not mine, and they are not investigating it well. It should clearly show another person’s name for that docket number. AHH!!
Hi.
Â
I had judgment which was vacated 12/11/2009
Since than I was trying to update my TransUnion credit report four times. And they still did not delete judgment. Last two “investigations” was don in 5 and 3 (three) days. This is physically impossible. They’ve got my dispute letter June 4th and June 7th I’ve got an answer that all information is correct. This is not true.
Â
I called them few times and it was not helpful.
I mailed them original order to vacate judgment signed by Judge and they told me TransUnion can not accept this document. Than I requested full information from court and mailed it to TU and again — not acceptable. I called to court and they gave me direct number to petition and judgment department and name of person who can take care of this case, but TU told me they can not call this number and they can not accept calls from this number. Last idiotism was “TransUnion do not know what type of documents acceptable by TransUnion”. Standup comedy.
Â
I am sure that TU (or TU vendor) did not provide investigation. Just keeping mail me the same answer. What should I do? Is it any way to let them vacate judgment?
What I need is let them do correct investigation. That’s all.
