Hey guys I have been reading quite abit on myfico lately to repair my credit. I have 2 negatives for experian. One is showing Closed-Paid. Says it was open in 2006, does not say when it was closed. Is this hurting me alot and if so how can I get this removed? It’s from Credit Protection Association.
Have a collection status paid/closed from Comcast via Credit Protection Association (CPA). Whats the best way to handle this? New to this forum. I dont know the accronyms. Im sorry. But, would really appreciate any help or guidance with this. Thanks in advance!!!
How is it legal for Experian to deny us access to the same credit scores that lenders use to judge us? For all the things that went into the new credit protection law, why would this get overseen?

DOLA is Oct 2008 and I am pretty sure it is still within SOL, since California is 4 years if I am correct. Is it still recommended not to DV and PFD? Do we have any other option?

Need a little advice. I am working on cleaning up my CR. I show a 2005 adelphia bill for $119 that now reports under Credit Protection Association (CPA). The last date it was reported is Sept 2005. It’s due to fall off approximately Sept 2011. Should I DV CPA, or let sleeping dogs lie? Thanks!!!
