Midland Credit Management dropped from EXP

I had a collection account from Midland that was showing up on all three credit reports.  Suddenly last week, my Experian FAKO score jumped 20 points up and the only difference was that the Midland account was no longer showing on my Experian report.  It is still posted on on EQ and TU.    I disputed this with all three bureaus in June and they all came back as verified as mine.  I just sent a DV letter to Midland two weeks ago with no reply .  Is the EXP drop a mistake?  Can it come back on to the EXP report later?  I am hoping that the DV caused the change on EXP and that EQ and TU are going to drop Midland too.  Any thoughts?

Qwest/Allied delete coming my way…

Qwest confirmed with me today that they have corrected a billing error on our account that was sent to collections (they continued to bill on an account we had canceled).    They also confirmed that they reported this change to the CA, Allied, and that they instructed them to remove all negative comments from our credit report and to stop calling us.   Qwest said that Allied may take a "bit of time" to fix our records.  My husband and I were on the verge of refinancing when this came about, and we don't want to lose the opportunity to lock in at such low rates, especially when this was all the result of a customer service error.   Does anyone know how to speed things up with Allied so the delete happens in a timely manner?

When do Credit Bureaus update CR & FICO Score?

Does anyone know when the credit bureaus update the information on your credit report?  Is it every month or only when the creditors report a change in status / balance / late pays etc?  Also how quickly are the updates seen by the consumer after the change is made on your report?  TIA

Late Payment

In November I moved in with my g/f and put in a change of address with the post office. Everything seemed fine until recently when I found out that my Old Navy account has a 30 day late payment on all 3 credit bureaus during this particular time frame.

How long does it take for Deletions to fall off.

I've gotten 2 CA letters stating that they will delete, but haven't seen the change in my scores or the reports.  How long does it generally take to see the effects of the deletions.

Once a file is removed from your credit report, how long does it take to adjust your credit score?

Will it show up the same time it is removed or could it take longer for the change in score?

capital one credit card reporting dates question, and score change

i was approved for a capital one card back in jan. after receiving the card, i setup my online payment account, and did not receive a bill until late feb with the 1st payment date of march 14th. when i pull my credit reports, the 1st page shows cc as positives in the summary, but i have no tradelines yet.

does capital one usually post towards the end of the month, and will i probably have to wait until next month to see a tradeline. also, will my score change once the tradeline appears? i took a small ding on EQ for the new card approval, and inq, and lost no points on TU. but was hoping to see some score gains on transunion since i have no other open accounts reporting at this time.

Statute of Limitations on a really old defaulted loan?

I know that due to changes in federal laws in 1998 and 2005, collection on student loans now have no statute of limitation, but my defaulted student loan is from 1988, and when I took this loan out, there was a statute of limitations of about 20 years (I believe, but I am not sure.) Does the change in law mean that even loans such as mine, that were taken out prior to the law rewrite, are still subject to collection even after so long?
