I have 6 people working for me in my manufacturing business. Which equates to about $4000. a month in taxes, plus unemployment, state taxes and a moron in the whitehouse who can’t  and won’t engage. and now a governor who should be arrested for putting his hand in my pocket.  no, I think I will layoff someone today.  and tomorrow I think I’ll start closing the company. Now, there’s job creation for you. Did you get your change????????.

I sent a gw letter to World Financial Network National Bank and got this letter back

Dear ____

Thank you for your recent inquiry to card holder services.  World Financial Network National Bank issues Jcrew credit card accounts and responds to all credit related inquiries

We are in receipt of your later requestiong that we investigate information reported on your credit file.  To address this concern, we have updated our records and have notified the credit reporting agencies of the changes that need to be made to your credit report.  This change should be reflected on your credit file within the next 45 days.

I sent a gw letter asking if they could remove a 30 day late from my record.  Is this a gw success?

Our mortgage lender agreed to remove a couple of late payments on a home equity loan we had.  The letter we received from our lender said to wait 60 days for the Credit reporting agencies to make the change.  It has been over that time and the changes have not been made.  How do I proceed?

SHould I send the letter we received from our lender about the removal and ask that the credit reporting agencies take action?  Can I request a copy of our credit report once the change has been made?

Today, DW’s last CO (CapOne) naturally fell off on EQ as the DOFD hit 7 yrs. It was reporting 1 60 day late and 4 other lates 90 days or worse on EQ and reported as a paid CO. It was never paid, but CapOne sold the debt and after a zillion GWs and even PFDs post-sell off, we let it go.

I played mental ping pong as to whether or not we wanted it off early. The lates are bad, as is the CO itself, but this was her oldest revolving TL by over 5 years. Well, it fell off today and in anticipation of a pending demise, I pulled her FICO scores on 11/29 and again today after seeing the change. Her EQ FICO dropped 8 points! Yeppers, the length of history helped more than the CO and lates hurt. When engaging in repair with respect to OC accounts, don’t always be eager to get those old COs removed. You can sometimes lose points when removing old COs.

BTW, for any FICO scoring folks, the AAoA remained unchanged and she wasn’t rebucketed because she still has a CA reporting. It was her 3rd oldest TL, but oldest revolving.

I’m in the process of consolidating my loans…just curious as to how long before I see the change on my report.

Thanks!

I have a foreclosure from Chase bank that went into a positive status (all lates are now gone) on my EX CR. I did not initiate a dispute or anything, so I’m assuming that Chase did this. The DoFD was in 2003, and it foreclosed in 2005. Any idea when/if EQ & TU will also reflect this change?

I had a collection account from Midland that was showing up on all three credit reports.  Suddenly last week, my Experian FAKO score jumped 20 points up and the only difference was that the Midland account was no longer showing on my Experian report.  It is still posted on on EQ and TU.

I disputed this with all three bureaus in June and they all came back as verified as mine.  I just sent a DV letter to Midland two weeks ago with no reply .  Is the EXP drop a mistake?  Can it come back on to the EXP report later?  I am hoping that the DV caused the change on EXP and that EQ and TU are going to drop Midland too.  Any thoughts?

Does anyone know when the credit bureaus update the information on your credit report?  Is it every month or only when the creditors report a change in status / balance / late pays etc?  Also how quickly are the updates seen by the consumer after the change is made on your report?  TIA
