There are three big ones Vodafone, Amena, and Moviestar,

What is the best deal when it comes to prepaid calling, with a sim card. I also want to be able to call one number cheaper then normal rates.

I have a while left on my cell phone contract, the early termination fee is $150, my phone is fried, it’ll be at least $115 to get a decent new phone as I only have $75 credit towards a new phone. I’ve been a Sprint customer for quite a while, and I’m feeling screwed. I’ve never purchased a new phone, just got a 2nd hand one from a friend when he left Sprint… yet getting the new(er) phone put me in a new contract and took away credit for a new phone. Sprint deals are shady once you’re locked in. Is there another cell phone company that will give me a new phone for free and make it worth my while to join them by compensating for the $150 early termination fee? Is there any way to get Sprint to realize I’ve never used any of their credits or what-not and shouldn’t be penalized for getting a 2nd hand phone… and offer me some kind of better deal?

I had an account with sprint. I opened the account in 2001 I maintained my account for several years. in early 2004 the was a problem with my bill which sprint removed and credited me for. They were supposed to remove the ability for my phone to make this mistake again. 1 year later it happened again. I contacted them about it and at the time they said that I had to pay it. I told them I can’t afford it. they called me back a month later and offered to clear the bill it I paid 50%. I told them I still couldn’t afford to pay that because I had lost my job, so the account was closed. I went there alot and was unable to deal with it till now, but sprint is not able to provide any information about the account plus they have given it to a collection agency they harasses all the time.
Do they have the right to give out my personal information? And do these people have the right harass me in the middle of the day during work? What can I do about all of this since none of them can provide me with information about the accounts? Also the collection agency has added interest to the account, since I never signed any type of agreement with them do they really have the ability to say I owe them money?
Basically I missed a call and when I returned the call it was an overseas call, a friend from elementary school had called me and we ended up talking for hours. My phone was not supposed to be able to make overseas calls after this, it was part of my agreement to keep the account after they removed the charges. I tried to call my dad in south America and it didn’t work. The next summer I was visiting family and my younger sister asked to use my phone, she didn’t know where she was calling it was just a 10 digit number, it ended up being overseas and they charged me.

So my t-mobile plan is up next month and rather than cancel and re-sign up with one of those free phones with new activation I was wondering if anyone had any luck just asking for a new phone after their plan was up and what kind of deals they will work out. I have heard if you threaten to cancel they will try and do something? Anybody try this, and what did you say and what kind of phone did you get?

I want to know if t-mobile really has the best family plan for my mom and myself. My mom seems to think so and she may be right but t-mobile doesn’t really have a great selection of phones I really wanted to go with Verizon or At&t but from the looks of it t-mobile really does have the best deal. So if anyone knows anything that would help me convince her that the other plans would be more beneficial then it would be greatly appreciated.

Hope I explained it so that you guys could understand what I’m asking.

I’ve been trying to do my homework, and unfortunately the cell phones that look really cool with the best features are not usable where I live.
