Sure take the money from  the people that have paid all their lives to earn a small retirement stipend

Whats wrong with this picture

When are they going to stop the automatic pay increases for the politicians

and the retirement  benefits for life after only a short term of office

This would certainly stop the greedy money grabbers and maybe we would get people in that care.

Ok so I have been paying a bill for a college bill that I initially didn’t pay so it went to collections. For the last 1 year I have set up an automatic payment with them of $50 to pay this off and it is not collecting interest. Originally when I set this up they agreed to the $50 but said I could only setup an automatic payment for 1 year. I have paid on time each month for the last year and then today I get a call from the collections company and they ask me if I can pay more and that I need to setup another automatic payment. I told them I could continue paying $50 but that I couldn’t pay more than that. He said it wasn’t acceptable and that by doing so I wouldn’t be paying this off for 7 years. I said I’m sorry it’s not 7 years its really 5 1/2 years but that is all I could afford right now. He then told me it wasn’t enough money and I had to pay more. We ended up getting in an argument and I said if they didn’t want to accept my $50 I don’t know what I can do and if they take me to court I will prove to them I can’t pay more. He then said ok fine I will setup a payment and get yelled at by my boss because you will be paying this off in 7 years. I said ok well I will setup another automatic withdrawal but I don’t want to set it up with you I want to speak to your boss and do it with him/her. He said no he will just yell at you like I did about only paying $50 a month. Then he said hold on and he put someone else on the phone that sounded like a co-worker not a boss (very uneducated). This person told me the only thing they will accept is $100 and we argued about it for a while. He then said he will accept $50 but that they are going to start charging me a processing fee of $15 because I don’t live in the same state as them and they should have been charging me this all along. I asked him to put it in writing and send it to me and originally he said ok and then later he said no either pay $100 or we aren’t accepting anything. I said I can’t pay more than $50 are you going to accept that or no? He said no and he hung up on me.

What can I do at this point??? I am going to assume they are going to say I simply didn’t pay like I should and I didnt call to setup a payment and so its going to go back on my credit report. Originally they had taken it off for agreeing to pay though I don’t have that in writting. Please help.

I came across this site looking for something on family trust violations and was shocked at what I read. If this is true, I have a greater respect and curiosity for the Lear family, but also wonder if it could also be related to something a little more ‘out there’

” Trusts are formed and determined in equity and in due course equity must follow the law. The case of the Lear Family Trust shows how court appointed Trustees and lawyers manipulate the books and trust property while pitting family members beneficiaries against each other for their own self-serving ends. This created discord between beneficiaries is intended to preclude those who have right and interest from questioning the unethical and even fraudulent activities of the Trustees. It also shows how the judiciary can prejudicially favor the Trustees’ maladministration and breach of Trust while the beneficiaries are left wanting justice. “

“Trustees of other trusts have also acted in similar manners but these trusts are rarely the creation of someone as prominent as William P. Lear, Sr., the designer and inventor of the car radio, the 8-track tape, the automatic pilot and the Lear Jet to name only a few of his many achievements. Bill Lear obtained over 150 patents during his lifetime.”

” This sordid tale of dishonesty and influence is not over and litigation is still pending. The story extends far beyond one branch of the Nevada State government and its regulatory agencies. It is intertwined with federal agencies, international corporations, and dealings that defy the best of Hollywood’s imagination and involves a fortune of which few knew the true extent. “

Payment is paid automatically, and this Episode II, but I do not want to be out on 2 and the latest available because it is the first 10. But I find, delete or edit the page on car insurance auto payment date choice.

I was directed to this forum so I am reposting my original post that was posted in the general credit forums. So read below.

Hi All,

Thanks in advance for your help. I have been searching the forums but am not finding an answer for my particular problem.

I have 7 different medical bills that I am paying a small monthly amount. Some of them are mine some are my husbands. Six of them I only pay $10.00 a month on because that is all I can afford to pay right now. I have these payment set up through my bank to be automatically paid every month. Total of all bills have been paid down to $1020.00.This amount will be $920. by the end of the week because it is too late to stop the automatic payment. I foolishly thought they wouldn’t do this if they were getting something every month. I have been paying on these since Sept. ’09. I received collection letters for 3 of them today. Letters are from the same CA for the same Dr.office and hospital. Total for the 3 are a little over $400. which I can’t pay off right now. Next month I would be able to increase the payment for 2 of them as I will have 2 of the smaller ones paid off. I want to keep these off of our credit reports because we are trying to buy a house. They are not showing up yet and the letters say I have 30 days to respond.

We were pre-approved to buy a house in Sept. but one thing after another has hindered us from being able to close. Now we are going to have to start the whole process over and can’t afford for our credit scores to go down. They have actually gone up since Sept.

So my questions are:

  • What is the best way to prevent these from showing up on our credit reports other than paying them off?
  • If I do manage to get the money to pay them off, should I send to the OC?
  • Do I acknowledge receipt of the collection letters in any way?
  • If I pay will they still be reported by the CA?

Again, thanks for your help.

UPDATE: I called this morning and was told they could not call back from CA. I have come up with the money needed to pay this off if I need to but I need to know the correct steps to take to do this. I have read so many different things on here that it is mind boggling.

I was told I could find a PFD letter on here but all the links I click on says the page as been deleted. Also, is that the correct letter that I need since it hasn’t been reported yet? I think I read some where on here to send the money (cashiers check) to the OC anyway in hopes that they will cash it. Along with a letter (not sure which one now). If I send to the OC won’t the CA still try and collect and report it on my CR?

Also, the 30 days to respond is a joke. I didn’t get the letter until the 12th and it was dated 02.02.10 and they have to have a written resposne by the 03.02.10?
