I have 1 collection on my EQ report and 2 on my TU report. the most recent one is was a GW success and they said they will remove in 30 days. The collection is dated june 2010. once that gets removed anyone have a idea how much my score will increase? I have 1 charge off from premere bank that is showing on the credit at-a-glance page as past due $469 and is being calculated in my revolving debt ratio which is at 27% I did try a PFD letter, but they wouldn’t accept it. If I pay that should I see a score increase because its showing up as past due and being cacluated in my revolving ratio? Was thinking about paying it off in full and just send a GW letter after its reported as paid, since the PFD letter didn’t work, or should I keep sending the PFD letters? I also have a paid judgment dated 3/09 was going to hire a attorney to try to have it removed through the court system. I have a paid auto loan on there with two 30 day lattes and a 60 day late on it dola Feb. 2008, I did send them a GW letter 3 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything as of yet.  Last bad item on report is a tax lien unpaid from 2001.

On the good side I have 2 open auto loans with perfect history opened in 3/07 and 5/09 . Im a AU on a 9500cl card opened in 9/03 with perfect history. I just got a orchard bank card with 320cl on it which didn’t report yet.

My main question is why my score is only 605 EQ  can anyone help me to figure out what item is doing the most damage so I can put all my attention to it. I would like to get to 700 by 10/2011

sorry this is kind of long, I did see a friends report with a much higher score and has lattes and collections which made me wonder what items I have that are hurting the score this bad.

Thanks in advance on your help

Oh, it’s doozy!

Ok, I’m Perfect Equifax, $ 14.95/mo pay for it. It’s been two months – really liked it.

Then in November decides the old man, he will get it to fit me. Well, when he presents his info, it is said that he already has an account and login to complete the purchase – it will bring him to my login info. He will do it again, thinks he made a mistake somewhere – it will bring him to me to login again, he said, need to log data file. So he’s doing, thinking, ok, we have the same address and last name, maybe they do not repeat monitoring of the product in the same account.

Big error pops up and says he can not log in and contact our customer service. When he tells me, I try to log into my account and it said I can not access my account and contact customer service.

3 times I called them, and every time they tell me there is no account, no files in my name, social security #, email address, or even a confirmation # from receipt of the Service. But I still get charged. I can not cancel it – which is what I want to do, because they say I’m not there, but they can keep charging me, but shows no record of them charging me.

What should I do? I’ve got a long mail sitting in my draft box, ready to shoot them demanding that they cancel the service and not charge me, and I support this month’s payment because I have not been able to access my account since November.

Anyone? Please! I need to know what I can do, say, or heck, even threatening to have them repaired.

Thanks!

mortgage

I was wondering if you give credit to mortgage payments to save the economy more effective than support from financial institutions. This may prevent foreclosures and grades, and also put more income into the pockets of people who do not take on risky mortgages, which increases the economic recovery.
sometimes call me and offer loans. they can offer home loans?

Hi again!
I’m planning on sending this letter to RJM.  Back in 12/09, they offered me a payment plan to pay off a $900+ debt to Wachovia, and this was before I knew anything about PFD, so I jumped at it.  I made the last payment in late July of this year.  The last few months, I’ve been scouring the MyFico boards, and finally got enough “oompf” to go ahead and write the letter.  I am thinking about enclosing the “satisfied in full” letter they sent me along with my letter, just to make it easier for them.  Please be honest, what do you think of all this?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I began working with your company in December 2009 to pay off my debt to Wachovia.  Your representatives were alway professional and friendly, and answered any questions I had.  I very much enjoyed my experience with your company.

I am writing to see if you would be willing to make a “goodwill” adjustment to your reporting to the three credit agencies.  Since I have satisifactorily completed the repayment process (and the receipt is included in this email),  I would like you to consider stop reporting to the three major credit reporting agencies.    I hope that RJM is willing to work with me on erasing this from my credit reports.

We are about to shop for a new car, and it has come to my attention that the late notations from this account may preclude me from taking full advantage of the very lowest interest rates now available. Since those notations do not reflect my current status with you or Wachovia, I am requesting that you give me a second chance at a positive credit rating by removing those tradelines.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
me

Hi, I sent out some gw letter last month to have some baddies removed but I only heard back from one of them. The one that I havent heeard back from is a loan company that I have used several times over the past 10 years So I called the loan company and asked the manager if he had received a letter that I faxed over and he said no, so I mailed it and also refaxed it to his attention.  I called him after I had faxed it to see if he had received it and he said yes.  But nothing has changed as of yet.  Should I send him another one or what? We are one a first name basis and because of our long history.  He has received it but I don’t know if he will do anything on my behalf and I don’t want to feel as though I am pressuring him or anything like that.

What else can I do?

The other one is for my car note and I only have 1 late payment with them and it was because I was sick and had to stay off work but I caught it up the next  month.  They sent me a letter stating that they are reporting accurately to the credit bureau.  It is accurate but I have been with them almost four years and alway pay on time. I just missed 1 payment.  They also say that they report monthly to CRA but they haven’t reported in iver two months and I am now ahead on my notes.  A good update from them will help my score, I think.

What can I do about this one?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
