I have a $575 collection account showing on my EQ with Allied Interstate/Directv as the CA. Â Recently I received a letter from AFNI, another CA for the same debt. Who do you suggest I contatc to DV and PFD? Â

If AFNI now has this account, then how will I get the Allied Interstate collection off of my CR, after I settle up with AFNI? Â I’m a newbie, and I need some expert guidance.
AFNI agreed to delete their CA and I did receive the confirmation in the mail. It is gone on TU and EX, but still remains on EQ. My concern is that EQ has it listed as “Anderson Financial” and the account number is different from the one reported to TU and EX. Should I wait it out, DV, or contact AFNI again?

I have to small accounts with afni. I sent a paid for delete and have not received anything and also emailed recoveryteam @ afni and still have not gotten anything. Has anyone else successfully got AFNI to do a paid for delete? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Hi Everyone, Im quite new to the forum and i’ve been getting quite a few great ideas on how to boost my credit score. My credit report isnt a large mess however it could use some improvement. I currently have 1 paid collection with ConServe and 1 unpaid with AFNI (tmobile). I recently sent a PFD letter to AFNI and a goodwill letter to ConServe. I also have a paid chargeoff with EXPRESS/WFNNB thats about 1 yr old. I wanted to know if i could possibly have the chargeoff removed and how would I go about doing so? I wanted to also know how this chargeoff can effect my qualification for a mortgage loan. Thanks!
I have an account with AFNI, First Premier,and Arrow financial. All of which I have paid. I am trying to find out if anyone has email address or fax numbers where I can send them good will letters. Has anyone emailed or faxed a good will letter to either of these companies and successfully had negative account removed? I have called and go no where with either of them. If anyone has good willed them and successfully got their information deleted, please share what you did, how you did it, and what numbers you may have used to contact them. Thanks in advance.
First, thank you all for your help. I sent an email to AFNI requesting they delete my TL. They responded to me with the standard we will delete letter. Great! So I checked my CR today and…….BOOM it’s deleted. I’m super excited. It only took them a week to remove it. My score went up 1 point, but hey that 1 point brought me from 699 to 700! In the last few weeks I’ve managed to go from TU 671 to 691 and EQ from 677 to 700. I have only 3 derogs left. Two fall off next month and the other I am waiting to hear back on my GW request. AMEX here I come, hopefully. If anyone needs the AFNI email please send me a PM. Thank you again.
I got a response from AFNI for an Verizon account. the account is from 04-06-2006 based on the last report sent to me by them. The SOL is 4 years. I would it be best just to offer a PFD for a percentage of the value? Â
