Just wanted tp thank each and everyone that has helped and posted their advise on here. Just closed on my 1st home after having declared bankruptcy 6 years ago will horrid low 500 scores. I am now creeping my way up to the 700 club. Once, again thank you to all…
I sent two DV letters to two different CAs. I got letters from both stating that they were having the accounts deleted from TU, EXP, and EQ.  I checked and one of them is already deleted. Thanks to everyone for the advise and support!Â
Â
I have two other CAs still reporting (Midland Credit Management and Pinnacle). Neither one responded to DV letter I sent CMRR on June 20, 2010. Should I report this to TU,EXP, and EQ? Do they care about this?
Â
I have a tentative mortgage approval for closing in October. The lender has stated that any collections will need to be cleared up or paid at closing.   They will pull a credit report 14 days before closing and anything remaining will have to be paid at closing. So I have a 60 day deadline and I would rather have it done before closing. With that in mind, do you think I should send a PFD for partial balance (say 40%-50%) to the remaining two CAs and see if they bite?
Â
I apprecaiate any suggestions, thanks.

hello folks,
Â
i did read many posts about authorized user and joint user (account) but i have a few concerns.
Â
1) i friend who works for a car dealer told me that AU isn’t very helpful. lender can actually see that you are an AU and don’t “value” your history as much. is this worth doing?
Â
2) my wife has excellent credit. if she adds me as a joint user is her credit score going to drop?
Â
3) if she adds me as a joint user, is my credit score going to go up because of her excellent credit?

thank you so much on your advise and sorry if this is the wrong section for this question.
I was the first time home buyers – where people love or hate of any mortgages and / or insurance companies? I like some of the recommendations (refer to the information or bewares). . . Thank you!
