I have numerous student loans… My ACS loan is showing a 60, 90 late. This happened when I moved to another state for a job and didn’t recieve the loan info. It is my fault completely, but I have not missed a payment since… Been over a year… Any chance that they will remove the lates… Anyone have any contact information for ACS? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I also have some Sirius lates with sallie Mae, but not expecting any help from them.

All these tax breaks and money given to banks with bad judgment calls. Why don’t they give us students a break on paying back student loans. Because of the student loans. I will never be able to afford a house.

Hello,

I am trying to GW some of my student loans and I cannot find their email addresses on planetfeedback at all.  Does anyone have any contact info for Chase student loans, ACS, Great Lakes, and US DEPT of ED-Direct Loans?  Thanks so much in advance.

And I do not see student loans listed anywhere except as “Included in Bankruptcy” … help?  I am thrilled beyond belief as they were almost 20 years old, but am thinking there is a mistake somewhere and that if I don’t pay them, I will have bad debt again.

ACS College Loan Corp – included in bankruptcy.

Hello–

After 4 no-helps from ACS CSRs for a late in Dec 2006, I am getting no where…  can someone PM me a good contact?

Thank You Greatly!!

I need some help figuring out what my options might be. Here’s the situation.

I received notice on Friday that Edfund is garnishing my wages at 15%.I owe a total of $2,235.23. I called them and they said I’m not eligible for any loan payment plan at all. They told me my options were to PIF or the garnishments would occur. The closest thing they said I could do was register for “hardship” to see if they can get the garnishment amounts lowered.

The original loan on my credit report is listed as ACS/Wachovia for $1750.

I searched the forums and kept reading about all kinds of rehabilitation programs and the like that are available on student loans. Is Edfund just stonewalling me and not telling me about my options or what?

BTW, I never received anything in writing from them, although I did move since setting up the account, so that could affect it.

Thanks for your help in advance!

I have a debt from ACS on my record and I am unsure of what it is. I started typing up a DV letter but noticed everyone stating if medical then another route is better. How do I know if it is medical or not? I am unsure, I wasn’t living in the state but my ex was.

I’m helping a friend who is a 20 year US Navy veteran. He co-signed for his wife on her student loan through ACS. They are trying to buy a home and his scores are too low. ACS is reporting his balance as higher than his credit limit. He was told that this severely affects his scores negatively. He called ACS and they said there is nothing that can be done. Any answers to this dilemma? She also paid 30 days late while he was deployed overseas and is there a GWA that might work to ask fro a removal?
