Paid installment account, showing 60 days past due, Should this account be reported as being I2

Mar 122010

I recently had a Car loan that I paid off. It was reporting 3 late payments in 2008. While I was paying the account off the loan was reported as Paid as Agreed. Well I paid the account of early, and now the status was changed to 60 days past due… I haven’t had a late payment on this account since Oct 2008. I watched my fico fall 25 points when the status of this account was changed.

I spoke to a rep at US Bank and she informed me that the account has been reported as being I2, I asked her should it being reporting as such considering the lates are already being reported. Can anyone help me with this, as I believe that this account is inaccurately reported.
