I have been served papers on a medical bill for the amount of $471. This is fine and If i pay it within 30 days there will be no judgement which is what i plan on doing ASAP. However i would like for this to be off of my credit report. I tried to call the oc and just pay them but they said there was nothing they could do that it was already turned over to collections. I tried to call the CA, Hillcrest Collection, to try and get a PFDÂ and they will not speak to me saying that all conversation must go through the lawyers office who has filed suit. My question is, is it to late to get this removed somehow? If i pay the lawyers office do i have any chance of getting this removed? Will the hippa process help me at all in this situation? Also I am going to take care of some other collections on my CR all of which are medical and was wondering, do i pay all of the bills before starting the process and if so do i try to pay the oc or just pay the CA they are with currently?
