A new one here. Deleted positive acccount just asked for 1 late GW.

Now what? Do I try to get account back on or let it go?

 

AU on a home depot account. High balance -finished renovation and closed account. I late 30 days 4 years ago -all other amounts paid before finance chg kicked in.. I sent a GW letter asking for a delete of just the late- every point counts right? Also planing another reno in near future so want to apply for home depot myself.

So- they sent a nice letter -they deleted the entire account! It was a good account- so now is it best to let it go- or try to get it back on..I only have 1 other cc account closed in good standing 6 years ago. So I show very little credit history. I have not seen the change in FICO yet.
