I have a question concerning GW letters -- I'm planning on completely paying off two credit cards with recent lates on them (was laid off for two months, yay), and fully intend on getting the lates associated with those cards removed if I can. They were all within the last few months or so. Would it be wise to send GW letters shortly after payoff or should I wait a bit?
