If someone has a credit card collection for under 10k, and court scheduled, and misses...what's next? I understand that eventually credit companies can place a lien on persons property? But what is the amount of time from court date until any action is taken? Has anyone been in this situation or knows how this works? And please no smart ass answers, or sarcastic comments. Trying to help a family member and need some advice. Thank you.
