Happy Holidays everyone :smileyvery-happy:

I have 2 Orchard Bank credit cards. Â One is a non-secured one that I got this year. The other is a secured one that I got in 2007.
Â
I opened the secured one with a credit limit of $ 200 about 3 years ago and I’ve never asked for a credit limit increase OR for it to become unsecured because I’ve read that Orchard Bank cards dont usually do that anymore.
Â
However, today when I checked my credit card balances to pay them, Â I noticed that my $ 200 secured Orchard Bank card now had a credit limit of $ 300. Â I was rather surprised because I didnt ask for this. Â I know it’s not a huge increase by any means…but still to get one felt a little bit rewarding after the work I’ve been doing to turn my credit around for the past few years.
Â
Anyway, my question is, does this mean that the card is no longer secured? I always thought that to get an increase on a secured account that you would have to deposit more money.  I tried calling Orchard Bank but their offices were closed and it’s hard for me to reach them because of my work hours. :smileysad:

thanks everyone
