I have a kay’s jewelery card that had a $102 balance, I PIF last month and they just updated my CR’s, but they are still showing a balance of $102 when it should be showing a $0 balance for this card. Can I contact Kay’s and ask that they update my CR to show the correct balance right now?

I would like to find out my scores without purchasing reports, too. I have two scorepower reports, but don’t want to use them until I send the letters I am getting ready to mail to the CRAs and receive responses. Can you get scores without reports? If so, where, and how much? Thanks!

I paid National Credit Systems what they wanted a couple years ago and now on my credit reports it says “current closed.” I had to pay it when I got my new car.

So its old, paid, and done.

Is there any way I can get that sucker removed totally? Would make me a happy guy.

thanks

These CAs seems to be steadfast about not deleting my collections.  I’ve settled for less than original debt.  Then I found you guys (talk about bad timing)  Well, now I’ve sent sort of a PFD letter asking if they would delete in exchange of me paying the remaining balance.

What do you think are the likely chance of them taking me up on the offer.  Anyone have any success in getting them to delete?
